Sydney Series: Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge

More Than Postcards

On our last day we did the number 1 thing recommended by friends and acquaintances; we climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge.  We hadn’t been too super excited about climbing the bridge, but it came so highly recommended that we felt like we needed to make it happen.  We are both so glad that we did it!  Quite the once in a lifetime experience really!

After we arrived at the Bridge Climb location, we spent about an hour getting suited up and being briefed on all the safety protocol.  They run a really amazing operation – the systems and operations of the place were impeccable and every need was accounted for.  We wore jumpsuits and a harness belt and everything, absolutely everything, that we needed was attached to that belt or suit.  Then the belt had a device on it that basically zipped us on to the bridge.  After we were…
